Activation Setup Guide — Step-by-Step for New Users
Budget: $120 – $130  |  Goal: 100 USDC + 4 POL in your private MetaMask Wallet
STEP 1
Acquire Crypto (~$130)

• Buy via Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, MoonPay, or Coinbase. Aim for ~$130 to cover fees.

• Avoid stablecoins (USDC, USDT, etc.) — they require a separate gas token. Best options:
     POL fast & cheapest   ETH self-sufficient gas   BTC self-sufficient gas

• Note both the asset name AND network — e.g., POL on Polygon  |  ETH on Ethereum  |  BTC on Bitcoin.

⚠ Start with $120–$130 to cover all exchange fees and gas costs.
STEP 2
Install Your Self-Custody Wallets

• Cake Wallet (multicolored cake slice icon) — Create wallets for Monero (XMR) AND your purchased asset (e.g., POL on Polygon Network).

• MetaMask (orange fox icon) — Create new wallet → choose Secret Recovery Phrase (skip Google/Apple sign-in).

STEP 3
Transfer Crypto to Cake Wallet

1. Cake Wallet → tap your POL wallet → tap Receive → tap Copy to copy your address.

2. In your exchange app (Venmo/PayPal/CashApp) → tap your crypto → tap Send → paste the address → confirm.

i  Ensure the Cake Wallet network matches the network from Step 1 before sending.
STEP 4
Swap to Monero for Privacy — ghostswap.io

1. Go to ghostswap.io → set YOU SEND: POL (MATIC)  /  YOU GET: XMR (Monero) → click Exchange.

2. Cake Wallet → Monero wallet → Receive → Copy → paste into GhostSwap Destination Address field.

3. Sender/Refund Wallet: Cake Wallet → POL wallet → Receive → Copy → paste into GhostSwap Sender Address field.

4. Click Confirm Exchange → “Awaiting Deposit” screen with QR code appears.

STEP 5
Send POL from Cake Wallet to GhostSwap

1. Cake Wallet → POL wallet → tap Send → scan the QR code or paste the GhostSwap deposit address.

2. Verify address, enter amount, tap Confirm. Track: Awaiting Deposit → Confirming → Exchanging → Sending → Received

   ✓ XMR will appear in your Cake Wallet Monero wallet when complete.

STEP 6
Swap XMR to POL into MetaMask

1. MetaMask → select Polygon network → tap Receive → copy your address.

2. Repeat GhostSwap: YOU SEND: XMR  /  YOU GET: POL (MATIC) → paste MetaMask address as Destination.

3. Sender/Refund = Cake Wallet XMR receive address. Send XMR from Cake Wallet → wait for completion.  ✓ POL arrives in MetaMask.

STEP 7
Activate Your Satoshi's Gift Learning Portal

1. MetaMask → tap Swap → swap POL to get 100 USDC (keep ~4 POL for gas fees).

2. MetaMask → Explore/Browser → paste your Satoshi’s Gift invitation link → open it.

3. Tap Connect Wallet → tap Confirm → tap Activate and follow prompts (requires 100 USDC + 4 POL ≈ $100.40).

4. To access anytime: MetaMask → Browser → type satoshisgift.xyz → scroll to Access Learning.

1. Go to transak.com/buy → set your currency (USD/EUR etc.) → enter ~$130.

2. Click the crypto selector → search “POL” → select POL — Polygon Ecosystem Token on Polygon.

3. Choose payment method → Card Payment (1–3 min) or Apple/Google Pay.

4. Open Cake Wallet → tap your POL wallet → Receive → Copy your address.

5. Back on Transak → paste your Cake Wallet POL address into the wallet address field → select wallet type “Non-custodial”.

6. Enter your email, verify → complete card payment → POL arrives in Cake Wallet directly. ✓
